Following a highly competitive Series One of the inaugural AUSL Cup, the captains for Series Two are set. Instead of the usual four team captains, there will be three. The reason is 12 players are competing in Chengdu, China at the 2025 World Games. The leaderboard saw pitcher Rachel Garcia in front with 458 points, but utility player Kayla Kowalik (380 points) will lead the Gold team.
oAnother pitcher, Lexi Kilfoyl, was third on the leaderboard with 354 points, but she is an alternate on the USA Softball roster. In Kilfoyl’s place will be pitcher Sarah Willis (350 points) as the captain of Team Orange while outfielder Kendra Falby (330 points) leads the Blue squad.
