Athletes Unlimited Basketball Heads to Dallas for Season Three

Without question, Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball fans were treated to a phenomenal season last year. Season three should bring even more excitement as it will occur in Dallas, Texas. The four-week season will start on Feb. 29, 2024, and conclude on March 23. Additionally, some familiar faces to WNBA fans will debut next February.

Here, the new class of players is headlined by five-time All-Star Angel McCoughtry. McCoughtry concluded her 13th season in the WNBA last year with the Minnesota Lynx. Joining her will be Lynx teammate guard Tiffany Mitchell, Los Angeles Sparks guard Zia Cooke, and Atlanta Dream forward Laeticia Amihere.

Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball will also feature the talents of future stars in the league. In this case, F/C Queen Egbo of the Indiana Fever and guard Maddy Siegrist of the Dallas Wings.

Moreover, key veterans of the league are returning to compete in season three to add to the vast talent. First, guards Odyssey Sims and Allisha Gray will look to improve from their respective top-five finishes from last season. Next, fellow guards Kelsey Mitchell and Kierstan Bell seek to bolster their top-10 finish from last season. What’s more, two-time WNBA champion Sydney Colson and champion Lexie Brown round out the list.

Overall, this upcoming season will feature over two dozen players, including champions, Olympians, and All-Stars. All things considered, it should be a fun season to watch.

Will the defending Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball champion be in Dallas?

Forward NaLyssa Smith in Game 13 of Athletes Unlimited Basketball Create: Jade Hewitt

Season three could deliver a new champion as last year’s champion, Indiana Fever forward NaLyssa Smith, has yet to sign a new contract. However, a possible reason is that Smith suffered a stress fracture in her foot earlier this year. Nonetheless, time will tell if fans see her back in the Lone Star State in 2024.
