Three RAW WWE Superstars Who can Challenge “The Man”

Becky Lynch

After “The Man”, Becky Lynch retained her championship at Crown Jewel over Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair, she swapped her SmackDown title for the RAW title with Charlotte Flair (no problems there). That being said, who is next in line for Lynch? It must be remembered that she never lost the RAW Women’s Championship.

As a refresher, Asuka won the Women’s Money in the Bank last May but, rather than a contract, the RAW Women’s Championship was inside. Due to Lynch’s pregnancy, Asuka was awarded the title. Currently, there are three superstars who I feel should be next to face the now two-time champ.

Zelina Vega

Before we move forward, I will be the first person to say that I was wrong about Zelina Vega in the context of how she was being booked. Since her return before becoming Queen Zelina, she was losing matches daily. On the whole, I was questioning why return to WWE earlier this year just to be treated as a jobber.

Once again, it was about the long game and learning about patience. Unquestionably, Vega has the skillset to elevate the RAW women’s division. Winning the inaugural Queen’s Crown tournament at Crown Jewel made me happy for her while eating my words. However, being wrong here is fine by me. Furthermore, expect the first Queen of WWE to be in the mix for Lynch’s title.

Liv Morgan

In truth, Liv Morgan was my pick to win the Queen’s Crown tournament. Emphatically, it felt as though this was the time to push her to the moon. Even though she lost to Carmella in the first round of the tournament, it does not change the possible trajectory for her career. When Ruby Riott (now Ruby Soho in AEW) was released, it seemed as though there would not be a place for her.

Yet, she took advantage of more TV time, which is so precious, and carved her own identity. Presently, Morgan will still get that same time now that she is on the RAW brand. As I have noted about Vega, it is about patience. Hence, maybe she will at a certain pay-per-view in 2022 that will skyrocket it her: a spoiler, perhaps?

Bianca Belair

By comparison, Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch have a few things in common with one another. Firstly, both are and were champions and first-round picks in this year’s WWE Draft. Secondly, Lynch and Belair were in the main event at a WrestleMania, winning their championships in their respective main events. Lastly, they do not like one another…I think.

Belair was supposed to compete with Banks at SummerSlam in August but was greeted by the returning Lynch. On the positive side, fans at Allegiant Stadium got to see Lynch vs. Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. On the negative side, the match lasted all but 26 seconds in a complete squash.

Nonetheless, Belair will face off once more against Lynch on RAW for the championship. Win or lose, the EST of WWE will give Lynch her bEST and finEST performance.
