Philadelphia: Unrivaled Makes History With Attendance and Marina Mabrey

The Unrivaled tour in Philadelphia was a historic success. This remarkable event not only attracted exceptional attendance but also featured outstanding performances from individual players. On Friday night, January 30, a record-breaking crowd of 21,490 fans attended the game, surpassing the previous WNBA regular-season record and setting a new record for the Xfinity Mobile Arena, home of the Philadelphia 76ers. This historic occasion demonstrated that fans not only watch on television but also actively support games in person. Women’s sports are here to stay, and thousands of supporters are committed to them. The old saying of casual fans,” Nobody watches women’s sports, ” has vanished in the last few years. And Philadelphia was the perfect city to have the Unrivaled tour.

Marina Mabrey 47 Points in Philadelphia

Marina Mabrey captured everyone’s attention the following day, as social media exploded with excitement over her historic 47-point performance in Philly. While Mabrey is well-known as a 3-point shooter, this game was truly exceptional. She made history by sinking 10 three-pointers, going an impressive 10-for-15 from beyond the arc. Remarkably, she scored 27 points just in the first quarter alone. The crowd erupted in cheers every time she hit a 3-pointer, and she maintained their enthusiasm throughout the game. It’s safe to say that Mabrey stole the show and delivered an unforgettable performance for the Philadelphia crowd. Nicknamed “Chef Mabrey,” she showcased her skills not only from the 3-point line but also by attacking the rim and scoring in the paint.

Mabrey had an unforgettable night, finishing the game with two rebounds and two assists, as the Lunar Owls defeated the Rose with a score of 85-75 on Friday night. The previous game record in Unrivaled was set by Dearica Hamby, who scored 40 points. Will we ever see another scoring record in Unrivaled? Time will tell. It was an amazing historic night for women’s sports, especially women’s basketball. A special night that will be discussed in the future.

The games will be broadcast on TNT and truTV. Check the schedule for times and dates.
