AU Basketball Completes Star-Studded Season Three Roster

As Season Three of AU Basketball gets underway next month, the roster is set. All things considered, there is no shortage of talent. Overall, the 40-player roster features 18 players who ended the 2023 WNBA season on a roster with 11 who have WNBA experience. The stacked roster will be headlined by returning plays in guards Natasha Cloud and Lexie Brown.

Additionally, center Kalani Brown of the Dallas Wings, guard Lexie Hull of the Indiana Fever with forwards Theresa Plaisance and Isabelle Harrison are back for another season. There will be some representation from last season’s WNBA champions, the Las Vegas Aces in Angel McCoughtry, Sydney Colson, and Kierstan Bell.

Fans will see some first-timers in AU Basketball with some young talent in Haley Jones, Rae Burrell, and Emily Engstler. Harrison’s Chicago Sky teammate Ruthy Hebard, Maddy Siegrist, and Evina Westbrook of the Sparks will be there also in Dallas, Texas.

The roster is heavily represented by the University of South Carolina. WNBA players Allisha Gray, Tiffany Mitchell, Zia Cooke, and Laeticia Amihere. Standout players from the last season of AU Basketball are back in Kelsey Mitchell and Odyssey Sims. It is important to note that all three players finished in the top 10 on the AU leaderboard in 2023.

NaLyssa Smith, who won the league last season, is not on the final roster. A new champion will be crowded this season. Given all of the star power, it makes it hard to predict who will take it all.

How to watch AU Basketball
