Athletes Unlimited Softball with Extraordinary Stars Returning

While Season Four of Athletes Unlimited Softball isn’t until June, we already have some big names committed. More specifically, ten of the best athletes have signed on to compete in both AUX and Athletes Unlimited Softball.

Looking at the pitchers, Odicci Alexander will be playing in her fourth season of AU Softball and her first in AUX. The right-hander started five games last season, finishing with a 5.25 ERA. Next, righty Rachel Garcia made her debut in AUX last season, leading the league with six-game MVP honors.

What’s more, Garcia had a .333 batting average with nine RBIs and three home runs, which also led the league. Lastly, Georgina Corrick made her professional debut in 2022 with AUX. The former University of South Florida star tossed 39 innings with 39 strikeouts and a 2.14 ERA last season. Now, let’s look at the infield as there will be some familiar faces.

Without question, Sis Bates possesses the league’s best glove, winning the first GEICO AUX Softball Defensive MVP award. Bates led AUX last season with 39 assists in 12 games. She is a member of the league’s Softball Player Executive Committee as well. Like Bates, Sam Fischer is the chairperson of the Softball Player Executive Committee. Fischer will be returning for another AUX season and Championship season.

In addition, Andrea Filler made her debut last season with AUX. The Tokyo 2020 Olympian for Team Italy batted .256 with eight RBIs in 34 at-bats. Furthermore, Tori Vidales will be competing in her fourth Athletes Unlimited season and second in AUX. The former Texas A&M Aggies star placed tied for second with 16 RBIs last season in Athletes Unlimited softball.

Lastly, Aubrey Leach was one of the original players in the first season of the league. It will be Leach’s first season in AUX.

All things considered, Victoria Hayward is one of the better bats to ever play in Athletes Unlimited. Hayward, a bronze medalist for Team Canada in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, has played in every season since its inception. Amanda Lorenz will be suiting up for both leagues this season.

In AUX last season, the former Florida Gators standout had a .487 slugging percentage. It’s important to note that she’s also a member of the Softball Player Executive Committee.

When Will We See These Stars Compete This Year?

AUX Softball will commence between June 9th and 25th. Athletes Unlimited Softball Championship Season starts a month later from July 28 to August 27.
