Without question, many WWE superstars had themselves a phenomenal 2022 and were a cut above the rest. As we near turning the calendar to 2023, there are five superstars that are poised to own the year. To be clear, there are some honorable mentions that fell just outside the top five. These superstars include Naomi, Roxanne Perez, and Bayley. Without further ado, here are my five superstars set to have a huge 2023 in WWE.
Bianca Belair
Bianca Belair has been the Raw Women’s Champion since defeating “The Man” Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 38. For the EST of WWE, it was the second straight year she won a championship at the premium live event. That being said, expect Belair to be a part of WrestleMania once again in 2023.
Becky Lynch
Since I mentioned Lynch, why not include her in this list? In 2023, the former RAW Women’s Champion could be in a lot of high-profile feuds with others on this list. Moreover, don’t be surprised if she finds herself in contention for a championship next year.
Charlotte Flair
The last time Charlotte Flair fought in 2022 was in an I Quit Match versus Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash. It took place back in May and she’s been off WWE programming since losing that match. Entering 2023, the Queen will likely return to regain her throne and place in the championship scene.
Ronda Rousey
In all honesty, 2022 has been a mixed bag for Ronda Rousey despite being the SmackDown Women’s Champion. She defeated Flair, lost to Liv Morgan at Money in the Bank, and defeated Morgan at Extreme Rules.

She’ll defend her title versus Raquel Rodriguez during the final SmackDown of 2022. However, Rousey could find herself doing more in 2023.
Rhea Ripley
To me, Rhea Ripley is the best part of Judgement Day since joining them back in May. By the same token, she’s set herself up to feud with Lynch (thought I forgot, didn’t you?) in 2023. I wouldn’t be shocked if some gold is in her future.
Honorable Mention WWE Superstars
To be clear, there are some honorable mentions that fell just outside the top five. These superstars include Alexa Bliss, Naomi, Roxanne Perez, and Damage CTRL (Bayley, Iyo Sky, and Dakota Kai).
