Three Smackdown Superstars in the WWE Draft Should Be…

The WWE Draft should be beneficial to the Smackdown brand as the women’s division could use some help. In turn, the blue brand will likely lose a major star, but the loss will be felt in the short term. Rhea Ripley has already made her impact on the brand as the Smackdown women’s champion. That being said, here are three superstars from Smackdown that should go in the WWE Draft.

Charlotte Flair

Without question, this is a no-brainer as Charlotte Flair needs new superstars to face. It seems unlikely that she’ll get a rematch with Ripley, so heading over to Raw makes sense. What’s more, fans could get a dream match between Flair and Bianca Belair, the current Raw Women’s champion. Belair has faced every single member of the Four Horsewomen except for Flair.

Someone of Flair’s talent needs more than competition than the current iteration of the Smackdown women’s roster. The 14-time champion will be a change of pace on Raw and will make an immediate impact there.

Xia Li

During the last draft, Xia Li took her talents to the blue brand, but it seems as if there’s been zero momentum for her. Although everyone cannot get that push, Li hasn’t had the opportunity on Smackdown to grow.

WWE fans deserve to see her show off her phenomenal skill set. Li could find herself on Raw as someone who could become a mainstay on the roster.

Shotzi

Shotzi is a former NXT Tag Team champion who has been on the hunt for her first singles championship. Since joining Smackdown in 2021, there’s that constant feeling that she can do more given that chance.

She has a solid gimmick with her tank and can handle herself in the ring. Should she stay on Smackdown, she warrants a chance to be featured regularly.

Honorable mention for Smackdown superstars

Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler as a tag team? Credit: WWE

Simply put, moving Ronda Rousey or Shayna Baszler is 50 –50, especially with Rousey. Both superstars are future WWE Women’s Tag Team champions given their chemistry. However, when will Rousey be at 100% to compete in the ring? Baszler has been a tag team champion in WWE and an NXT Women’s Champion. Maybe Baszler could find herself as a singles competitor as Rousey gets healthier.
