Three NXT Superstars in the WWE Draft Should Be…

Without question, the upcoming WWE Draft will change the landscape of each brand. In this case, the focus is on NXT and its deep and talented pool of superstars. There are superstars on this brand ready for the call-up while some are about a year away.

The three superstars that should be taken in the draft reflect their work in NXT and their potential on either Raw or Smackdown. That being said, here are the three NXT superstars fans could see on a new brand.

Roxanne Perez

Roxanne Perez appeared at the Royal Rumble in January and on Smackdown last October. She has accomplished a great deal in her short career in WWE. Perez was the first-ever Women’s Breakout Tournament and Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Winner at the NXT Deadline premium live event.

Moreover, she was an NXT Tag Team Champion and reigned as NXT Champion for over 100 days. All things considered, Perez has lived up to her “prodigy” as the sky’s the limit for her in WWE. She would fit well on the Smackdown roster permanently.

Zoey Stark

Like Perez, Zoey Stark was in both the Royal Rumble and was a tag team champion in NXT. Not becoming NXT champion doesn’t rule out Stark’s future on either Raw or Smackdown.

She competed for the championship at the NXT Stand and Deliver premium live event in a ladder match. The reason for her move is that Stark would be an amazing heel and could become something special.

Kayden Carter & Katana Chance

This pick here depends on the fact that the WWE Draft will take teams as one. If so, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance would make sense. The duo is the longest reigning Tag Team Champions in NXT history at 186 days. Carter and Chance have faced nearly all of the competition in NXT, and getting drafted to either Raw or Smackdown is naturally the next step.

There’s a “chance” that both superstars could be split apart, but WWE needs to build upon its women’s tag team division. They possess the chemistry and experience to make some noise in the future.

WWE Draft: Honorable Mention

As other NXT superstars move on, Tiffany StrattonSol Ruca, and Indi Hartwell (once she drops the championship) are next in line.
