The Aces beat the Liberty

On Saturday night, the Las Vegas Aces continued an amazing season. The Aces are on fire this season. The Aces had a four-game winning streak. New York Liberty has a lot of work to do to prepare for the next season. On Saturday night, the Aces beat the Liberty 80-63.

The New York Liberty

The Liberty are having a rough 2020 season. They are still at the bottom of the Eastern Conference. They recently beat the Chicago Sky, however, they struggled during Saturday night’s game. The leading ladies for the Liberty are the following; Paris Kea, Amanda Zahui B., Layshia Clarendon. Paris Kea led the Liberty in points scored. Kea played for 18 minutes and within those 18 minutes, she scored 14 points. Amanda Zahui B. led the Liberty in rebounds. Zahui B. dominated last night. She played for 34 minutes and had 21 rebounds. Layshia Clarendon led her team in assists. Clarendon played for 21 minutes and within those 21 minutes, she had four assists.

The Las Vegas Aces

The Aces have been on a hot streak lately. The Aces currently sit number two in the Western Conference. They are right behind the Seattle Storm. The Aces beat the Liberty all thanks to the following leading ladies; A’ja Wilson, Dearica Hamby, Danielle Robinson. A’ja Wilson led the Aces in points. Wilson played for 31 minutes and within those 31 minutes, she scored 20 points. Dearica Hamby led her team in rebounds. Hamby played for 30 minutes and within those 30 minutes, she had 10 rebounds. Danielle Robinson led her team in assists. Robinson played for 25 minutes and within that time, she had six assists.

After the Aces beat the Liberty, they are going to take some time and rest. The Aces will be playing the Phoenix Mercury on Tuesday at 10 pm EST. The Liberty has been struggling all season, however, they have another chance to get a win. The Liberty will be back in action and will take on the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday at 7 pm EST.
