Sasha Banks and Her Massive and Crushing Injury

Undeniably, Sasha Banks is one of the best wrestlers in WWE, male or female. In addition to her amazing talent in the ring, Banks has proven her talent out of it in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. Unfortunately , The Boss will be out of action for the next six to eight weeks. Banks, a triple crown winner in the WWE, suffered a foot injury at a WWE Live Event in Fayetteville, North Carolina last Sunday night.

After getting medical attention, it was discovered nothing in her foot was broken. Banks underwent an MRI and it was revealed she has a bruised calcaneus bone. According to WWE, she is at home recovering and will be subjected to physical therapy.

At the present time, she tweeted this out:

Banks, who played Koska Reeves in season two of The Mandalorian, will miss the Royal Rumble in St Louis, Missouri. She competed in the 2017 Women’s Royal Rumble, making her Royal Rumble debut.

Banks was defeated by former WWE superstar Nia Jax. In 2018, The Boss made history as the first-ever participant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. In fact, she was in the match for almost 55 minutes in the ring while tossing three women, including WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.

At last year’s Royal Rumble in St. Petersburg, Florida, Banks faced WWE superstar Carmella for Banks’ SmackDown Women’s Title. The Boss defeated Carmella with her finishing move, the Bank Statement to keep her title. For the most part, Banks also put a statement in 2021 with her performance.

First, Banks competed with the EST of WWE, Bianca Belair, at WrestleMania 37 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Both made history as the first-ever African American women ever to main-event WrestleMania.

Banks and Belair won an ESPY in 2021 for “Best WWE Moment” for their history-making match on night one of the two-night pay-per-view.

Second, she competed with (and against) the likes of fellow Horsewomen members in Charlotte Flair, Bayley, and Becky Lynch. As a matter of fact, the last time we saw Banks on TV was on the final SmackDown episode of 2021 facing Flair for the SmackDown title. In this case, Flair retained her title over Banks.

While Banks will not be in the Show-Me State this year for the Royal Rumble, she will be back to show why she is not only The Boss but the Blueprint as well.
