The Massive Takeaways from Survivor Series War Games

All things considered, the Survivor Series War Games match was a major success that did a lot for me personally. For starters, it gave us the return of “The Man” Becky Lynch as the fifth member of Bianca Belair’s team. The announcement was made on SmackDown the night before. Without question, the crowd at TD Garden loved the Women’s War Game match between Belair’s and Bayley’s team.

In the end, Team Belair proved to be the bEST as they picked up the victory over Team Bayley. However, there were some key takeaways from the match that saw many of the superstars stand out. What’s more, we likely saw some clues to possible feuds moving forward. That being said, here is two observations after the Survivor Series pay-per-view.

Becky Lynch – Bayley feud

We’ve yet to see Becky Lynch and Bayley have a genuine feud in WWE. During the match, both superstars faced off for a few minutes in the match. It was a moment to see two of the best of their generation square off in the War Games structure. It was Bayley and Damage CTRL who put “The Man” out of commission, meaning this feud was going to happen.

Moreover, we’ll likely see Becky Lynch face off against the likes of Io Sky & Dakota Kai, which is a bonus. Yet, the brief encounter signaled a shift away from Bianca Belair to Bayley for Lynch.

Alexa Bliss Looked Distant After Survivor Series Win

By all means, Alexa Bliss did her part for Team Belair in the win at the pay-per-view. For the most part, everyone on the winning team celebrated. Belair, Lynch, Asuka, and Mia Yim are locked shoulder-to-shoulder. However, if you look closely, Bliss is seen looking distant from her team at the end. Although this could mean absolutely nothing, it makes me wonder if Bliss is going to turn back heel.

Doing so would signal that she would be next in line to challenge Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship. Given these points, be on the lookout for that. Overall, all ten superstars put on a fantastic show in the War Games matchup.
