GEICO and Azzi Fudd Partner Up Ahead of March Madness

All things considered, UConn star guard Azzi Fudd is one of the best players in all of Women’s College Basketball. Fudd’s story and rise is one that warrants to be shared and, thanks to GEICO, it will be a reality.

The insurance company announced a multi-year partnership with Fudd as they back her journey to the March Madness and toward her professional career and afterwards.

GEICO’s first female athlete partner, the 2026 BIG EAST Scholar-Athlete of the Year will be featured in a forthcoming docuseries for them. Titled “Miles That Matter”, it will talk about Fudd and her aforementioned journey. This includes how youth basketball program molded her as she looks to make it better.

She spoke about her partnership with GEICO and the people along the way on her journey:

“My journey has never been a solo act. Every mile, every setback, every comeback — my family, friends, and basketball community were there supporting me every step of the way. Their support has been critical to how I got here and will be equally influential in where I’m going.

I’m excited to partner with GEICO to tell my story, highlighting the people behind the scenes and finding ways to inspire the next generation. As I enter into this next chapter, I’m excited to join the GEICO team and build something that lasts both on and off the court.”

“Miles That Matter” will debut on Paramount+ on March 16th as part of its NCAA March Madness sponsorship in a multimedia effort across TV, digital and social. What’s more, here’s a preview of Fudd’s story.

Azzi Fudd and Her Senior Season

Looking at her final season in Storrs, Fudd made the 2026 All-BIG EAST First Team. She is averaging 17.9 points per game with a .451 shooting percentage from three-point range. It’s important to note that she leads the BIG EAST with her three-point shooting percentage. Also, the Arlington, Virginia native was the NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player last season.

Beginning on Saturday, she and Huskies will face the Hoyas of Georgetown in the BIG EAST tournament. Without question, Fudd will look to help UConn reach the Final Four as well as win back-to-back National Championships in the NCAA Women’s Tournament.
